- Your message/content in the editor

Tips for Good Topics
A good topic title should quickly explain what the discussion is about.
Good Examples:
- “How to import FIGMA designs into CGI Studio?”
- “Feature Request: […]”
- “Control XY does not behave as expected”
Avoid
- “Help!!!”
- “Question”
- “Problem”
Clear titles help others find and answer your topic faster.
Choose the Correct Category
Posting in the correct category helps the right people see your topic.
For support requests make sure to select the Support category. For general feedback or topics please use the General Discussion category.
If you are unsure:
- Pick the closest matching category
- A moderator can move it later if necessary
Search Before Posting
Before creating a new topic:
- Search for existing discussions
- Check pinned posts and FAQs
- Review documentation/tutorials if available
This helps reduce duplicates and keeps information organized.
Adding Images & Attachments
Depending on your trust level and forum settings, you may be able to:
- Drag & drop images directly into the editor
- Upload files or screenshots
- Paste images from the clipboard
Visual examples often help others understand your question faster.
Use Proper Formatting
Long posts are easier to read when structured well. You can switch between a markdown editor and the regular one:
![]()
Helpful tools include:
- Headings
- Bullet points
- Numbered lists
- Code blocks for technical discussions
Editing Your Topic
After posting, you can usually edit your topic to:
- Correct mistakes
- Add information
- Mark solutions (if enabled)
- Improve formatting
Keeping your topic updated helps future readers as well.
Be Specific When Asking for Help
When reporting issues or asking questions, include:
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Error messages
- Screenshots/logs if possible
- Steps to reproduce the issue
The more details you provide, the easier it is for others to help.
