Text node still shows English after changing language master

Hi there,

I have a question about changing languages.

I changed the Language Master to German, as I thought my Text Node would also change to German, but it is still showing the default language (English).

Can anyone tell me why the text is not changing? Do I need to do any additional setup after changing the Language Master, or is there another setting that I need to change?

Thank you for your question!
The reason the Text Node is still showing the default language is that changing the Language Master only selects the language. The text will not change automatically.
To change the Text Node to the selected language, you need to add the translated text in the Language Table.

You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Select the Text Node.
  2. In the Properties panel, click the magnifier icon for the Text property.
  3. The Language Table Selection window will open.
  4. Click Add to create a new entry and enter the text for the default language.
  5. Select the language you want from the Current Culture drop-down.
  6. Enter the translated text in the Text field.
  7. Click OK.

Now, when you select that language in the Language Master, the Text Node will show the translated text.
You can use the same steps for other languages and add as many entries as needed.
